Here's one and I'm wearing the wetsuit with the hole in the knee that the small one made. I hope the OP doesn't regret starting this thread. Shooting barros is exciting to say the least. We use small cero mackerel as chum. Carry one around and toss it out in front of you. It will bring in barracuda.

And contrary to what some say, about Barros not being a real challenge, if they've been exposed to divers, they're wary and hard to get close to. Almost like snappers. You have to get down and hide on the bottom.
 
I have never spearfished but the cuda's we used to catch in San Diego on a jig with a treble hook were usually tapped on the back of the head with a 2x4 prior to removing the hook.
