SPG and DIVE watch disagree

I posted this wisdom sometime ago based on Segal's law which is an adage that states:
A man with a watch knows what time it is. A man with two watches is never sure.
A diver with an SPG knows how much gas they have. A diver with two SPGs is never sure.

And a broken watch (analogue) will display the exact correct time twice a day.....so....a broken SPG (analogue) can indicate the exact pressure in the tank once per dive.
