I am interested in diving the wreck of the SS Stavronikita in Barbados on Nov 12 and am looking for a group to fill a boat. Let me know if you are interested! I will be arriving on the Emerald Princess that morning.

This 365ft long wreck is considered to be an advanced dive due to the depth. Sunk on 22nd November 1978 in a Marine Reserve. Easy access to interior through cut out areas. Great for photography, maximum depth is usually 100' on this dive. Resident barracudas, eels & snappers.

We did the stav when we were there, a great dive with very open passage ways and lots to see!

Hope the currents are not as ripping as they were the last time I dove the Stav. Be prepared.

Not as much penetration as a few years back because the centre section, damaged in the original fire, is starting to collapse a bit.
Still a great dive, actually should dive at least twice. Propeller is at 128 ft, top deck starts at about 75 ft at the bow and is about 98 ft
at the stern. Dive times about 28/30 minutes due to depth. Shoot an email to Dive Barbados Blue – Scuba and Snorkel with PADI’s Best at the Hilton for more info and
booking, they dive a lot of cruise ship divers.
