Hi everyone. Could anyone tell me what the typical water temps are for the St. Lawrence in August? There does'nt seem to be a lot of info about it online. Thanks.

The best place I have found for this information is the NOAA National Data Buoy Center. Try this link for the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence. Select one of the data buoy sites and when the page comes up you can get historical data for the last year or more.

Water temps in August are usually in the low 70's. I dive in the Brockville area 3 to 4 times a year. Any other questions feel free to ask and I will share whatever info I can.

Thanks guys. I have a freind who is talking about wanting to go up there this summer and I wasn't sure what it was like. I'm sure I will be back with more questions when I get some details from him.

Definitely a worthwhile trip. Vis is great, and water temps in August are very comfortable.
