Any recommendations for places to eat in Marigot?
Thanks!
Joe

Hey Joe,
I'm headed for St.Maarten Feb. 15-24,gobeach.com has lots of great current reviews
on smx food. If you are staying near Marigot it sounds like you will be surrounded by
some of the best restaraunts on the island.
Good diving & Good luck

Cool, thanks! I'll be there the 23rd through Mar. 1

I can't tell you where to eat, but I can tell you of a place not to eat at.
Down by the street market area in Marigot there is a series of Restaurants that sell local food. There is a place called Yum, Yum bar and grill ( or something like that). The kids swore that their burgers were goat and my chicken dish looked more like Ox tail. I'd have no problem eating goat or ox tail if it was good, but this was terrible. My oldest son looked around and said "you know your in the wrong place when there are no locals eating here". Just expect the food to be a little on the expensive side and Marigot to be a zoo (depending how many cruise ships are in).

Knowing where not to go helps a lot also! Thanks!
Joe
