Due to having inherited a Marriott Timeshare (on Singer Island, FL), our family is trying to decide between St. Thomas versus Aruba as an exchange for a March spring break dive trip. We've been to Bonaire 6 times and Curacao twice but never to Aruba nor St. Thomas. I expect that Aruba is similar to Bonaire and Curacao but with less healthy reef systems.

Anyone who has visited both and could contrast the two dive experiences would be great to hear from. We are all fairly experienced divers (least experienced of the 4 in my family has 120 dives). We prefer to dive with small operators who will give us the leeway to dive the profiles that we want (ie not hand-holding follow-me dives). Thanks for the help. Ben
