I have been snorkeling and diving out there for years and have been watching the staghorn grow. I have been keeping quiet about it because I was worried about overuse by people who might damage it. Last summer there was some kind of meter in the middle of the biggest field of it. I actually saw one piece of elkhorn coral about 3ft in diameter and 3 ft tall today. I tried to line it up with the buildings but couldn't find it on my way back. Hope the coral keeps growing.
