I didnt realize you guys had an actual accident there. So were is the closest ER that would be good to know instead of heading back to Westerly. Hope it wasnt too bad. I had no knowledge of that.

Wasn't too bad. It was kind of a freak thing, and only indirectly diving related (in that he was about to go diving), John slipped on the rocks and tried to catch himself, but he landed on his finger at a bad angle and dislocated it.

Closest ER is at South County Hospital about 5 minutes away in Wakefield, so it isn't far at all.

Ive read stories about the falls at Hazard Ave that go way back and I think in one of the Newspaper articles has the name of one of our CT dive crew in it. Looks like those buoys out there have saved some lives.
 
Yes, that was a bad day...I didn't get to dive and was out of the water for several months!:11:

That hospital ER is the best I've ever been in. Just hope no one else has to see it.:wink:

A few weeks prior to my accident, a man died (not diving related) saving his niece who had slipped off the rocks at hazard ave.
