Help!

The lever on the battery pack of my one and only Ikelite ds 125 got stuck half way and now I cannot remove the battery pack from the strobe, neither can I lock it in. Since I am in Sri Lanka we do not have an authorised Ike dealer. Can anybody tell me how to solve the problem. I am in the middle of the dive season and this is a complete disaster!

It will work itself free. Keep trying gently.

Just remember to pull back or up as the case may be.

It seems that you have to get the black base off the housing for it to slide better.

My guess is that some sand gets in the top section and restricts the movement.

Thnaks I managed to remove the little black disk on the top and that solved the problem. I checked with the Ikelite repair shop over the phone and they assured me that this part was purely cosmetic so no problem even if it broke. I now operate without that piece and eveerything is fine.
