The only advantage of a breathing system in that sub would be to prolong the divers' life just long enough for him or her to realize how stupid buying that submarine actually was.

That could be several years worth of realisation.

Apparently the submarine is real. I just had the bright idea of running the description on the auction website through a translator since it's written in Danish.

Note the viewing angle can be altered by clicking that circular icon on the left of the video.

The submarine is a so-called "semi-wet" - ie the cabin is partially filled with water under immersion and has the same pressure as the surrounding water. You must therefore comply with the dive tables when diving with this excursion. You dive with 3-4 diving bottles connected to the submarine. They are used partly to provide fresh air in the cabin, but also to blow the water out of the ballast tanks so that you can reach the surface again. The former owner also always has an extra pulse machine with a 5 meter air hose, so you can dive out of the submarine and get to the surface if the submarine eg. should be stuck or not have enough air to reach the surface for their own use. The progress is made by two electric propellers, which can run in either direction. This makes the submarine highly maneuverable. The speed in immersed state is approx. 1.5 knots. And there is room for 2 people in the cabin. Copy this link in your browser and get a little more knowledge about the submarine type. So it's a diving helmet for two, with a couple of diving scooters attached.

Will they charge me an additional bag fee to get it to St Marteen ?

So it's like a bicycle, but more expensive?

At the moment the bid price is less than what an expensive road or mountain bike costs.
