Sunnodessy, Freeport on the 18th

I have tried to find out information about lodging, food, water & diving conditions in Freeport so soon after H. Frances, and also of possibile effects from Ivan.

Has anybody had any DEFINATE news about the condition of Sunnodessy, Freeport or the airport there?

As of Tuesday, the airport on Grand Bahama was still under water and not yet open.

One report from Freeport is that power is still out and may be for quite some time. Water is being rationed. Many residents are still evacuated from low lying areas.

Alternative plans are very difficult at this time, so if it is still bad on the 17th, we'll cancel, otherwise, maybe we can go an move a few palm branches??
