My suunto stinger is on wrong day for date? Any suggestions to fix?

The Stinger calculates the day automatically from the date. Are you sure you have the correct date set and not accidentally flipped the day and month? It jumps from year -> month -> day within the stinger settings.
The owners manual is pretty clear on how to set it.
