Any of you North Florida Cave Dudes live near the Suwannee? I am in need of a report on river conditions. With the almost daily thunderstorms in the Jax area, and weather on the evening news that has been showing as many storms in the river area, I am figuring it is rather messed up right now. Hopefully, I am figuring incorrectly.

If any of you live by/near the river, or cross it going to work--I would appreciate a report--especially below Branford.

Thanks in advance,
FLRiverDiver

CDF has a few current Suwannee cave reports(including some offbeat stuff), might want to check that forum. FWIW, Madison, Little River, and Peacock are all open.

I had a nice set of dives at Orange Grove Sink, at Peacock Springs yesterday. Descending the first 40' is murky then the water temp drops dramatically and the visibility improves to about 75' vis. We headed into the cave towards "Challenge". Great dive!
