swimmers ear

i went diving the other day and i tend to get swimmers ear, well not when i get in fl caves waters clean. well my question is whats the best home curse i dont remember if its viniger and alco.. or vinger and proxide i know they have some stuff at the store but im home now and dont feel up to moving lol

You can use a 50 / 50 mix of vineger and rubbing alch, or just the rubbing alch. I also will add a few drops of baby oil in, and mix it really good. If you look at a bottle of the store bought, it is alch. and glicerin at 95% alch 5% glicerin. the baby oil makes up for the glicerin, and helps to keep the ear canal from drying out too much from the alch.
