Just a heads up to anyone planning on diving in Sydney, I went out with the crew from Prodive Manly yesterday. The vis is pretty bad (the worst I've ever seen here) and the water is colder than seasonal (60F). It reminded me of home. (Just kidding, it never gets that warm at home.)

I'm not trying to dissuade you from going, because the diving is still great (saw a big wobby, a weedy sea dragon, morays, rays and a HUGE cuttlefish). If you go, be sure to wear sufficient exposure protection and bring a light.

Too bad . . . we just had three AWESOME days of diving 72 degree water with 30 to 50 foot viz up in Byron Bay, not that far away!
