What a bunch of hypocrites! The Taiwanese Government says it doesn't want to send any more whale sharks to their deaths due to the unexplained death of Ralph (the Ga. aquariums whale shark). I just recently saw a picture of a whale shark being chopped up on a Taiwanese dock. In my opinion, this is just a bid for more money.

Without going too overboard, Taiwan does owe the U.S. a bit. We sell them tanks, jets, and protect them from China. The U.S. recently conducted a military exercise that simulated repelling a Chinese invasion. The least they could do is sell us a few sharks!

How about we stick with one giant fish and see how that goes? I went there soon after the aquarium initially opened, and even though the tank is massive, I don't agree that it's big enough for two whale sharks.

If you think the GA aquarium is small for a whale shark, wait till you see one on a dinner plate.

I just think it's horrible and they should be left in the ocean where they belong...not in a tank. it's just very cruel!
