Tampa Charter

I'm going to Tampa August 9th to 16th. Can anyone recommend a charter/dive shop that has boats going out Tues through Sat at this time of the year?
If the weather is bad I was thinking about an introduction to cavern diving. Any sites in Northern Florida that are open this time of the year?

The dates seem a bit off......another month perhaps?

Lots of boats in the Tampa/St.Pete/Clearwater area do both private and charter in the Gulf, I'm sure others will jump in here.

If you want to do a north Florida cavern dive Ginnie Springs is my best recomendation followed by Devils Den and Blue Grotto. The're open year around.

Just do a google search and you will get all the local charters. I have done Scuba Quest and Florida West out of Venice and I would definately recommend Florida West. Scuba Quest not so much.That's just me though. I would make plans to do the caverns either way. They are very cool.

ummmmm, If I had a time travel machine sitting in my garage I would certainly help you with this dilemma, but with the high cost of gas and whatnot I had to sell it....no, just kidding...try the above suggestions

I would recommend http://www.mydiveclearwater.com/ the "Plunger VII" I was out with them about 3 weeks ago. Nice boat about 30ft nice ride plenty of room. He went out 11 miles W. of Clearwater to about 55ft. We went to some ledges lots of fish. Vis this time of year very hit and miss.
You said Aug 9-16 would that be 2007 or was that 2 weeks ago.
