We're going to be camping for 11 days at Porteau Cove in mid May and are going to do some diving, probably every day. I was wondering where the nearest place to get fills is. It seems to be Edge diving in North Van, but I was hoping there was somewhere closer.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Darryl

Very much depends on time of day. If you can avoid the AM and PM traffic it is freeway almost all the way - about half an hour each way. If you get stuck in traffic could easily double that.

You might have a conversation with Edge and Ocean Quest in Burnaby (about 10 minutes more up the freeway) and see if they are doing classes and see if they can exchange full tanks for empty. Doubt it as most classes are done at Whytecliff but worth a call. Both shops are great people.
