That’s how I do it every time. In my old truck is was iffy, as the strap hooks weren’t in the best spot for straps, and the track cleats were too high.
New truck has rails for the cleats in the floor of the bed. I can fit three tanks between the cleats in a single row, single stack. That works perfect.
