I just don't log dives
I've got a dive knife, probably from the late 70s or so that has "Taucher Messen" engraved on the blade. I think it is some sort of photo etching. Taucher means diver in German and Messen means measured. This knife has a ruler photo etched on the other side going up to six inches (measured dive knife?). The blade is stamped J515 Japan. I haven't found any reference to it, but it looks like your standard US Divers knife of the period. Plastic handle, plastic sheath. Probably just a marketing gimmick to tie a Japanese knife to its earlier German predecessor. Anyone ever run across one or know who sold it?

Thanks.
