Out of curiosity, what does a ready-to-dive GUE JJ weigh?
 
That's pretty light.
 
I guess that's with a single 1 litre drysuit inflator and no heater battery? Is it 2 or 3 litre oxygen?

(Would be nice to see the specs and examples plus thinking underlying that unit's design)

2l oxygen. No extra heater battery.

But I don’t even dive the thing. I’m sure others have better info on specifics. Rb80 gang gang over here.

I don't recall the actual land weight. My GUE configured JJ with the all bells and whistles attached (twin LP50s/7L bottles, a 3L O2 bottle, and a suit inflation bottle) weighs noticeably less than my double 130s/D16L.
