They had an interview with the icemaker from Edmonton - he and his US counterpart were responsible for the ice surface. At first he had laid only a dime, but then place a loonie underneath it before the ice was installed. However, - I think I remember catching the interview you saw as well..... but our twoonie would look almost identical to a loonie with a dime on top. My .02 and thats about all its worth!

It has been an unfortunate year for Canuck Bucks... hitting an alltime low.

I'm showing my age here, but I can remember when the Canadian dollar was on par with the US. Even further back, a small slice of time when the Cdn was actually worth MORE than the US!

Then of course was the infamous "Dief Dollar" (almost) What Baby Boomer could forget that one?

egads.... I hate to admit this, but I remember "when" also.... (though not the Dief dollar whew)
