Every dive is a new experience...case in point is a few weeks ago my buddy of many gadgets shows off his brand new yellow 30 CF pony bottle and pretty new reg.

Before the dive, he energizes it to show how wonderful it would be to use in an OOA and out spews a pint of white sludge from the mouthpiece. He got carried away with the silicon while detuning the 2nd stage and must have got some water into it from it's maiden voyage...it's a good thing I was already fully kitted up or I would have been on the ground with tears in my eyes from laughing - I guess you had to be there.

It did get me thinking of practicing my Emergency Ascents from 50-60 feet though...
