Just signed the final paperwork and application for adoption and set up the final decree/adoption celebration date for June 30th! At that point the baby that was put in our home when she was 4 weeks old (due to domestic violence and lack of parental effort to comply with court orders since the DV event) in August. So just short of a year since she was born she will be officially ours. Not that she knows anyone else but us as her parents for a long time now.
