Kudos to "Cynde of CDS and others not known to me..."!

Those of you diving the Casino Point Dive Park in Avalon on Catalina Island after today will be surprised to find there've been some changes made that should improve your enjoyment of the park. I won't spill the beans, but will give you a hint... you should find entries and exits, especially at low tide, much easier.

Just to clarify... I had nothing to do with it. I rarely dive the park these days thanks to SCUBA Luv's King Neptune.

OK, no one is biting on this. I should have posted it in the Whine & Cheese forum which gets much more attention than Kudos. However, here is a picture I took this afternoon.

Let's see if anyone can guess what happened...

Oh! Oh! Oh! ... I know! I know!

The low tide boulder of doom is gone :jump:

Looks very good, thank you for improving the (already awesome) park

I'm so fired up she pulled the trigger on this.

Very nice.

Okay I give. My one and only trip was in May and it looks the same. What changed? Okay I'll bite and say they moved the rocks and put in some sand.

Now keep in mind that I had almost nothing to do with this (which is why it worked).

If you like it, thank Cynde at CDS. She's often out at the Casino Point fill station many weekends. She did much of the in-water work, possibly with her main squeeze Jason.

From the picture it looks like those horrible rocks are gone ... does that mean someone finally found the sunken jewelry case?

If they did, they're not telling!
