no. if your stage is rigged properly, it doesnt smash into it. however, the chest d ring gets real busy when you have 2 bottles, so clipping it to the hip is the cleaner option.

Most of my issues with the pony were actually out of the water or climbing boat ladders when it was hitting/rubbing the gauges. I'll have to play with the sling rigging and maybe readjust. Thanks guys!

Unclip it and hand it up first.
