Hellohello, I'm doin' my first Liveaboard trip in 2 weeks and, knowing that space is at a premium, intend to pack very light... in doing so however, I dont wish to leave out any Essentials... so... just what Are the Essentials?

What are the main things that you dont want to leave behind for a trip like this?

Medications, sunscreen, and the like should be obvious, and are not particular to a liveaboard trip. I recommend a few fast-drying bathing suits, a few fast-drying t-shirts, boat shoes, and dramamine or similar. I require a clean pair of boxers to sleep in each night--your needs may differ. In the optional category, consider an extra wetsuit or skin, and an i-pod. Threads like this usually elicit some exhaustive lists; keep in mind you will have limited space for luggage and most of your needs have been anticipated by the boat (although I've never been aboard a Blackbeards boat). Elaborate save-a-dive kits, for example, can probably be left at home, relying instead on the boat's rental gear. I'm sure you've already read Blackbeards' FAQ on the subject.

You really don't need much for Blackbeards, Clothing-wise. I would have been fine with two t-shirts and a pair of shorts. Bring your own mug. It makes identification easier.

Seasick meds

Towel and washcloth

Spring clips for hanging your stuff to dry
