Tortugas Get away Oct. 20th to 23rd available spot

This posting is a favor for a friend who must forego his booked trip in Tortugas due to relief work after huriccane Katrina.

The trip is from the 20th to the 23rd on the liveaboard "Ultimate Getaway". This includes 3 meals a day, snacks, fills with unimited dives, spearfishing and lobstering. I would not recommend non-experienced divers to pursue this. Trip is USD$700 but I think if you make a "best offer" that he will consider.

their website states that one can make 7-10 dives a day.
i would assume that they should all be very shallow dives.
would nitrox help if one was doing 10 dives a day?
the website also states the jan. rate is $500.
can one assume that this offer is for oct?

While I don't speak for the person offering this trip,
the $700 is about an average cost for a 3 day trip.

The $500 specials are offered only by the Ultimate Getaway
during the winter months, so I wouldn't expect it
during October which is still during the main season.

BTW... You can do this trip on regular air, but you
will limit the number of dives you do. For this trip
you really want to be diving Nitrox the entire time.
