i concur...just don't grope anything...why do you have to grope everything? keep your hands to yourself! :) #underseametoo

Kill the crap out of lionfish, but just don't grope them... new divers watch that stuff and are more likely to start touching stuff.


Unless you are in their natural environment. I go to the philippines all the time and you can find them on every dive but you will only see 1 to 4 on any specific dive. Its a relatively rare and awesome sighting and they are usually found solitary daytime and two together sometimes on night dives.

If you try spearing or grabbing them there you wont be making further dives. Everyone seems to have this learned hatred for the lionfish but its a rare and gorgeous creature in its natural habitat.

all that said if im in Florida ill spear as many as i can see lol
