Hello all,
I've been away from the board for a while but I'm back. I went diving yesterday 8/3/09 in Key Largo with Conch Republic Divers. The first dive was on the Spiegel Grove. This was my first time diving this wreck. There was a bit of a current going down but when you got to the wreck you could hardly feel it. The wreck was awesome. We got to penetrate a few of the swim throughs. I was teaching an advanced class. My student went through his air in 14 minutes so It wasnt a very long dive. "Note to self... have student use 100 tank next time." LOL.

The second dive was a drift dive in Molasses reef. This was a shallow dive (25-30 ft.) My student did much better. Snapped off a couple of nice pics. Viz was 30-50.

Conch Republic Divers staff was awesome. Capt Gary and Rebecca received us at the shop at made us feel right at home. Our boat capt was George. He put us on the Grove in a way where we would be sheltered from the current. The dive masters were awesome. I'm sorry I forgot there names.

All in all it was an awesome trip. TY CRD
