From: Tropical Weather : Weather Underground
For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude..
The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical
Storm Iselle...located about 300 miles west-southwest of Manzanillo
Mexico.
An area of low pressure is located about 900 miles southwest of the
southern tip of Baja California Mexico. The low has a well-defined
surface circulation and is producing some persistent
thunderstorms...but that activity is displaced from the low center.
Upper-level winds are forecast to become a little more conducive
for development during the next couple of days...so there is some
potential for this system to become a tropical depression within
the next couple of days as it moves very little.
Elsewhere...tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the
next 48 hours.
