I recently relocated to Tokyo and had the pleasure of diving Oshima last weekend with Jagfish and Co. Really nice dive sites and the turtle release on Saturday added to an already great weekend. Very much worth going to if you can time it next year. @Jagfish, is this an annual event?

Coming from Thailand I found the variety of box fish particularity nice. The reefs looked very healthy with vis 20m on average.

Would be cool to get closer to the volcano on a future trip.

We go to Oshima a half dozen times a year or so...the late summer trips are hit or miss with turtle nest scheduling...
