Alright guys, two here that I couldn't identify and haven't seen in the many times I've been out to St. Andrew's Jetties in Panama City Beach....

First off, a little crab with some interesting feathery bits. Please ignore the happily colored anemone attempting to distract you:

Following right behind, some strange purple and white spotted creatures with snail-like feet surrounding (and living inside) what look like large cowrie shells. These snail/slug/cowrie things were about 8 inches long:

Any ideas? Thanks guys.

EDIT: I've just been informed by a fellow diver that those are cowries, and I'm an idiot. Any information on the crab still appreciated :)

Ok, the crab is a Banded Porcelain Crab. And your Cowries seem to be Atlantic Deer Cowries.
