Never changed the bulb, still works. Takes C batteries.
Once had water in it, but never a problem; just dried it. I think I had a sand granule on the o-ring. O-ring is in good condition, putting a tiny dab of silicon on them keeps them in good shape.
5 years old maximum. It's yellow with a lantern grip, which I love. Lantern grip is far better than pistol grip IMHO.
