Mr. Robinson

I know you're getting ready for Charlotte, but when you get a chance, can you tell me if ya'll still offer this course. I picked up the information on another thread and copied it here for reference. If it is still availble, how do we go about applying for the class? Is it just as described in the following? Thank you sir.

"We offer a "correspondence course" for our Underwater Investigation program using the Encyclopedia of Underwater Investigation (by Robert G. Teather) and the accompanying student workbook. You can purchase the Encyclopedia of Underwater Investigation (manual and workbook), through Dive Rescue International at 800-248-3483. These manuals are in the "public domain" through the publisher so that is why we offer them for sale. To obtain a Dive Rescue International certificate though, I believe the certification department will require proof of agency affiliation."

YES...

Dive Rescue International offers a correspondent course for Underwater Investigation. You can contact the office and obtain additional details at 800-248-3483.

Also, the IADRS is doing a mini-seminar (3 hours) on underwater investigation during the IADRS conference in Charlotte. If you are interested in attending just this portion of the program, the fee is $75 with a $25 discount to IADRS members. Please contact me at:

brobinson @ iadrs.org

As a note to others, please contact me offlist for prompt information as I check the Scuba Board on an infrequent basis and very seldom look at this string of posts.

Regards and thank you for your interest.
