I work for the Love Lab at UCSB and I had the opportunity to tag along in two trips to Anacapa - I believe this is near Frenchy's Cove but I'm not sure. We're (or they, really) trying to figure out a good way to survey pike blennies at the tube worm fields there. With good vis, I took the opportunity to make my third log. I also added the shots I took in the previous trip. Enjoy!

Say hi to Milton and Donna for Dr. Bill.

Pikeblennies are among my favs. After great seasons the past two years, I didn't see a single male engaged in courtship displays off Catalina this year. All I saw were females hunting for food. I thought that a bit strange... they must have realized I wanted to film them with my "new" HDV camera!

When was this video taken? It says Sept. 30, 2007???

As for the pikeblennies, I heard they are trying to renegotiate their contracts with SAG so until then no pics!!!
