Used VT3

[Ludicrous Depth]

So I was looking for another dive computer, but had limited funds. I found a friend who needed to sell most of his diving stuff. He had a Oceanic VT3, with 5 dives on it. Only used it for his OW certification. Came with case, transmitter and download cable. Although I didn't want to get sc***ed, I also didn't want to pay a ton, so we settled on $450. Thing is like brand new with no scratches and the strap has yet to be cut to length. All batteries are still good and transmitter works perfect. So my question is, did I do OK or did I pay too much for it?

I can't for the life of me figure out what the purpose of that is???

It is a bungee wrist mount for the computer.

You pop the computer into this, attach some bungee cords and it is a DIR style computer mount.
