the cdnn article was complete nonsense which created not a little distress with family members in the US , i'm glad most of the cdnn articles were obviously equally inaccurate so it had no credibility. the asiadivesite story was better, and the true story is told on www.techthailand.com, or anyone can email me for any information

yours, Jamie Macleod , MV Trident

It would be good to get updates on whats going on with this one.

The 'slant' on your website regarding the Lagarto is utter Bull****.

QUOTE:

"Since the discovery in May of the World War II wreck of the USS Lagarto, a 1,500 ton Balao class submarine, in the Gulf of Thailand, a new skirmish on and under the seas is surfacing.

On one side are the divers who discovered the wreck and who are eager to explore and film it. On the other side is the might of the US military, which insists that the wreck should be left untouched out of respect for the 86 crewmen who went down with her"

Never was any skirmish
Never was any disagreement
Never was anything but gratitude and appreciation showered on Jamie (the finder) by the USN
