Hello all,

Maybe a really silly question with an obvious answer;
I have the following Safety buoy:

It's the Mares Safety Stop Marker buoy. It has a rather big opening on the bottom which I also use to inflate it. However, it also has a valve on the side, similar to the valve a random beachball would have. What is this valve for? How would I use this valve?

Peter
