Vertical Blue 2015 has kicked off at Deans Blue Hole, Long Island, Bahamas.

Several national records set and some impressive dives. The deepest being Jonno Sunnex of New Zealander and his Constant Weight dive of 91m. It will be interesting to see what William Trubridge does this time round - another NZer and world record holder for Constant Weight No Fins (CNF).

This is one of the premier events on the free diving competition calendar and has been described by the New York Times as "the Wimbledon of free diving". Although it is also a World Championships year so the athletes will be focusing their build-up on the World Champs later.
