Nice and clear at Jessie Island (Nanaimo) today. Visibility was about 50' from top to bottom. I could see the bottom during the surface swim out to the island for quite a way. It was pretty dark though because of the weather on the surface. It was one of those streetlights on during the day kind of days.

Dove at Tyee Cove on Sunday the 23rd. Visibility was a good 50 feet plus, and probably more like 75 feet. Could clearly see the surface from 80 feet. Even better when the sun was out.

A good 60 plus feet of visibity at Tyee Cove this morning. Had the sun been out, would have been much better !!

A good 60 feet plus at Madrona Point this morning. Saw 4 big octopus, including one that came all the way out of the den, and 2 wolf eels on eggs. :cool2: Lots of sea lions in the area, but they just passed by and showed no real interest in us. :idk:

10 to 15 feet of visibility at Dolphin yesterday morning. :depressed: All the rain we have had certainly
had a negative effect on vis. Hopefully it clears up soon.
