Hello everyone! Long time diver dude here living in Los Angeles.

Yesterday, some friends and I were diving Farnsworth Bank off the Catalina Island coast when I encountered a California two spot octopus in rare form! He wasn't too shy so I got some great GoPro footage of him.

It's a nice find and good video. Looks like a mid size octopus judging by comparison with your hand.

Like a lot of GoPro videos it would benefit from a video light.
