Here's a video of a quick pre Independence Day Tampa Bay spearfishing trip last week. Two quick drops and I had handfuls of some good Mangoes and nice hogs. Water is still comfortable at 82 degrees. The gumbo (green hair algae) is starting to bloom. We had late rains this year so thankfully the nutrient run off has been delayed and viz has remained pretty good. However, I anticipate that is going to change in the coming weeks.

I shot well, but on one shot though I would have missed the broad side of a barn. Looking back at the video I can clearly see why I missed. Can anyone else see it?

Oh, and not subscribing to my channel is un-American, man. 😎:unitedstates:

Nice. Glad you were able to recover that missed hog. While the audio was just the music, I still heard the “MMMMM” grunt through the regulator as it’s a sound I’m familiar with.
