My job is sending me to Kenosha Aug 14-18, and I'd like to tack a day on the front or back and do some diving. I'm originally from the Midwest but didn't take up diving until I moved to S. Florida. So, I'm a cold water wimp. Anything below 80 degrees is brrr for me. I have not gotten around to drysuit training, which I'd only do for trips up there or maybe cave in the future.

So..given my locale should I even bother this time of year without a drysuit? What charter would you recommend?

Thanks!
Jim

Double Action Dive Charters (DRIS) runs a boat out of Hammond, IN. Not that far. There are boats in the Milwaukee area but I don't know anything about them.

I'm scheduled for AJ dive charters on the 20th. Is there anywhere I can rent a heated vest?
