I live in Santa Barbara currently, while I am finishing my bachelors. I recently received my scientific SCUBA research certification and am looking for some volunteer research diving opportunities, does anyone know of any around Santa Barbara?

Thanks

Also, there's an organization in Southern California call, Disable Veterans SCUBA Project, which assists disabled vets and their dive buddies.

Your best bet is to ask your DSO who on campus needs a buddy diver. There are usually a fair number of grad students who do.
