We're getting hammered right now on the west side of the mitt. A little system snow with a lot of lake effect thrown in for good measure. I can see like ... 10 feet out my window right now. Check it out Weather map

LOL! It's 57 degrees here in Dayton, OH with a forecast high of 66 degrees :D

Tomorrow the forecast high is 36 degrees--no wonder my sinuses are killing me! When you live in Ohio if you don't like the weather stick around, you'll be seeing a different season in a few hours.
Stay safe!

We say the same thing up here but i think our range of "different" is a little greater.

This keeps up we are looking at a pretty big dump. Snowblower don't fail me now!

Here on the western shore of Lake Michigan we got a good ten inches of snow. Total whiteout earlier in the day. And we had gotten rid of almost all of that white s**t before the storm. Just a small ice pack was all we had. A few well placed quarter sticks and you could launch the boat. I haven't dove since January 7th and I'm starting to shake. Oh well. I pick up my new BPW system tomorrow. Of course then I'll want to go diving even more. Ha. It's the real deal Michigan. Here it comes!

Get that tractor goin and plow out your launch ramp! Or do you need me to bring down a big wheel loader? there could be the lull after the storm,
this is mild to years back! but we did get a bit more up here than south-
Pool game? I will bring the rum and look at the breakers roll in on your beach!
Dive safe,soon!

24+ inches the last couple days and counting. This is a good one, with more coming. First time in a long time most of the counties around here closed the roads to anything but emergency traffic. Yeeeehaaw!

... I just got my power back after having lost it Thursday at about 9:00 pm. We still have large tree limbs in the yard covered with about an inch of inch.

Ugly stuff!!!!

Hey LoneShipwreckHunter
aka; DiverBrian

Glad to hear your power is back up and running. That would be almost unbearable. It is currently 9 degrees here in Indy, with wind chills well below zero. Temps will begin to rebound next week. Paul called me Thursdayand mentioned he was working under the casino boat in the calumet river. I am not sure what he was doing, but topside was aware that he was having doubts in his mission. He only had 2' clearance, and unbeknownst to him they were fueling the boat. It dropped almost 9 inches and pinned his bailout to the bottom. Supers told him to move around until he found some room but he called the dive, and hasn’t been back since. He is coming down tomorrow to fill me in on all the close calls he has had working for that dive company in Chicago. Also the big boat show starts today and runs through next weekend. I am going to go take a look at the new Boston Whalers. Hopefully we will have one sitting up in Sanford in the near future. Stay tuned to no more charter fees.
