Weather in Playa del Carmen

I will be going to the Riviera Maya on sat. and am diving on Sun and Tues. the weather forcast says scattered showers, is this going to affect the diving. It will be my first time there and I dont know the weather conditions this could be normal for the PDC area. Anyway how is the weather?

Topical, hot humid with some scattered showers not affecting the diving. This is pretty much the weather forcast for the entire region down there.

I hope it doesnt rain there every day ill be down there from aug 5th till the 9th

It says scattered showers everyday only because it is the start of the rainy season. So really you never know. Right now it is clear skies, no wind, and the water is like glass. If you want a really accurate weather forecast go to WindGURU: Weather forecasts for windsurfing, kitesurfing and other wind related sports. Pick North America, Mexico, then go down to cities and pick Playa del Carmen. It is very reliable.
