I've been at the lake all day so I didn't forget!

This is a sponge on Newman's Wall in Roatan that we've been watching grow for the last 5 years. We call it The Trumpets.

:) Thats one of the most intersting sponges I've seen.. I'll have to look for some when I'm down in Guanaga later this month..

Roatan is the only place I've seen these trumpet-like formations of sponges. Keep you eyes peeled, expecially under some of the ledges, and I bet you'll see the same thing in Guanaja.
