My wife and I are going to Western Australia May 14-31st. We plan to fly into Perth and then head up to Ningaloo Reef for some whale sharks and diving. Are there any must do things we should plan to do during our 2.5 weeks? What dive shops do you recomend? Is there plenty to do on the west coast? Would it be pushing it to try to go to the east coast too? Where is the best place to swim with the wild dolphins?

Dolphins at Monkey Mia or down near Bunbury. If you have time, go to the Treetop Walk near Walpole, Rottnest (for dives and for the visit), the Porongorup Range near Mount Barker, the wineries in the Swan Valley (Perth), Margaret River and Mount Barker and the two ex-RAN ships off Dunsborough and Albany. You'll be struggling to fit it all in on a 2½ week tour, let alone travelling to the east. www.westernaustralia.net is a good place to start.
