If Canon housings were on par with Olympus housings then I would agree, however, IMO, based on some experience, a Canon housing is a future leak not yet happened. Not to mention the functional differences. Perhaps you should look into a Sea and Sea type snap shooter.

Couldn't agree with you more on both counts!! I'm looking to get the G-15 and am hoping FIX or Nauticam comes out with a housing for it. If the canon oem's were as good as the oly ones, I would get one instead and save some $$$

"Housings from Recsea, Nauticam, and Ikelite are coming soon. We expect Ikelite housings to arrive the first week of December, and Recsea to arrive the last week of December. Nauticam housings will arrive at a date yet TBD."

Definitely not interested in the ikelite housing. Will have to see what the pricing is for recsea and nauticam and what the specs are for them.

I know I can get a patima housing for it with a 67mm threaded port for under $750 but it doesn't have a cold shoe... and I kinda want one for my video/focus light so I don't have to add another arm. :)

(Part of my brain is trying to talk me into the S100 with FIX housing but I know it won't do all that the G15 will... so I wait, and wait... and hope)
